It’s no secret that blogs are one of the pillars of any successful company website. So how do we get people to fall in love with our blog?! Well, just like your website is the introduction or “front door” to your business, your blog design is much like a welcome mat to your business’ blog. Attracting people visually engages them from the get-go, and heightens the chance of the user lingering to read your content – and hopefully subscribe! 

Here are 7 of our personal  favorites when it comes to examples of beautiful blog design.


1. SIX-TWO

Driven by the global youth travel brand Contiki, Six-Two provides engaging travel guides that showcase boisterous imagery and design that makes you want to pack your bags and drive to the nearest airport. 

Six-Two displays their blogs with a “tile” effect, but with their own twist. By way of mixing blog posts, texts and engaging imagery, they’ve managed to still keep it clean and simple. With a neutral palette, their blog showcases an occasional pop of pink to keep it engaging and youthful.


2. THE GOOD TRADE

A lifestyle blog born in Los Angeles in 2014, The Good Trade focuses on intentional and eco-conscious living. Their blog keeps in clean with their black and white color palette, which highlights their airy, minimal and stunning photography. 

3. QUOTIENT SOCIAL INFLUENCER NETWORK

Quotient knows their stuff, and their site makes this apparent. This company connects influencers with compatible brands running advertising campaigns. From the moment you land on their page, it’s clear what their mission and brand is. Their minimalistic design, clear communication through blog titles and CTA and lovely tile grid all make for one downright beautiful blog.

4. JEREMY D. LARSON

Jeremy Larson is a writer, editor and photographer based out of Brooklyn, NY. His simplistic design gives the user a clear path to every aspect of what he has to offer.

5. UNLIKELY DAD

Tom, the man behind Unlikely Dad, shares his journey with adoption in a beautiful way. While using creative, colorful images, he balances that with engaging, short blog titles and effective brand messaging.

6. EASTLYN AND JOSHUA PHOTOGRAPHY

Dayton is lucky to have Eastlyn and Joshua, two local photographers with an unbeatable creative eye. Their photography catches your attention immediately, and yet isn’t overwhelming while navigating their website. Beautiful, simple and intentional.

7. STRATECHERY

Stratechery is run by Ben Thompson, who is highly experienced in writing and business tech and marketing analysis. Before branching out on this own, Thompson worked for companies such as Apple and Microsoft. His design is simple and classic - no frills, just quality content.
